Practices and improvement directions for the estimation of the non-observed economy of the Republic of Belarus

Abstract
This article presents main methodological aspects of measuring the non-observed economic activities in order to obtain a more complete coverage of indicators of the System of National Accounts. The author separately considers ways for adjusting GDP, which is calculated using the production approach, income generation method and use of income method, by volumes of shadow (hidden) and informal economic activity for 2011 in the Republic of Belarus.
