Abstract
Questions of the labour resources formation processes of the region are reviewed. Analytic materials, demonstrating the impact of labour resources formation processes on the economic development of the Smolensk region are described. The appropriate management decisions regarding the regional and municipal questions may be based on the results of the performed research.
